The Harrow Inn, Steep, Hampshire

The Garden

The pub garden is a lawn with at least a dozen tables, most of which are covered, surrounded by seasonal country-cottage flowers like delphiniums, poppies, everlasting sweet-peas, roses and dahlias plus a shady section comprising of campanula, phlox and allium, plus trees such as greengage, mulberry, apple and fir.

Except for during the winter, Harrow flowers grown by Tony Clear, are available from the large table at the front of the pub. Donations for these, along with quizzes and pub postcards, have helped us to raise more than £50,000 for the Macmillan Nurses appeal and the Rosemary Foundation, both are charities that specialise in home-nursing for cancer patients.
